New Consignors
Welcome to Liberty Crossings children’s consignment sale. Our consignment sales not only help fund Children's Ministries with items such as playground equipment and digital pianos for our new Music Academy, but it provides the community with a great source for gently worn clothing, toys, furniture and maternity items at reasonable prices. Sellers receive 70% of their proceeds with the remaining 30% supporting our children's ministries. A $5.00 participation fee will be subtracted from each check.
We thank you for your support!
How to be a consignor: You must register to be a consignor (see below). You will be given a consignor number. This will be your number for as long as you continue to contribute with our sales, so please make sure to make a note of it somewhere. Once you have your number, go to “how to tag and price” to see how you are suppose to tag your items. We WILL NOT accept items which are not tagged correctly.
Consignor Registration
Consignors must register for every sale. This lets us know how many consignors to expect. Please email Kati Tillman at Kati@libertycrossingsumc.org, if you can not remember your consignor number or password. The number you are assigned will ALWAYS be your number even if you miss a sale. Please do not register as a new consignor if you already have a consignor number; it will cause you to receive multiple emails and letters.

Ladies Items: We will accept ladies shoes and clothing. We thought it would be fun to offer Mom a chance to purchase an item for herself. We ask that you put your consignor # on the inside on a piece of masking tape, so we can track your item back to you if the tag would come loose. For ladies clothing and shoes, you can consign your 5 best clothing items and 3 pairs of ladies shoes per consignor. They should be tagged on the printed cardstock just like the children's items and hung on wire hangers only. Be sure to safety pin the items securely to the hangers. Look at the picture on the Tagging Page for the correct way to hang items. Ladies shoes need to in a clear gallons-size ziploc bag. The tag needs to be secured by tape on the outside of the ziplock bag. Tape the bags closed to keep shoes together. It may be helpful to write you consignor number on masking tape and stick the tape to the bottom of the shoes in case they would be removed from their bag. Shopping Tips
§ We currently accept Cash and Checks and Credit Cards.
§ Please consider leaving your children at home! I know that sounds terrible, but unlike Wal-mart and Target, the toys at our sale have already been opened and many of the pieces are in ziplock bags and taped to toys. The temptation to play with a toy that is already out of the box is almost too great for most children. If children play with these toys the chances of the main item and the pieces becoming separated increases. If you bring your child, they must stay at your side, which makes shopping difficult. If you have an infant, consider wearing them in a snuggly. Because of the amount of people and the lack of space, strollers are discouraged especially during the first hours of public sale.
§ Bring something to carry your findings in while you shop - a laundry basket with a rope tied to the handle works well.
§ Bring a list of your kids measurements (go to Land's End for an in depth list of measurement sizes) and a tape measurer. A quick way to check the length of pants is to measure a pair from home that fit using a piece of string. Cut the string so that it is the length of the pants from the waist to the bottom of the pants leg. If the pants at the sale are shorter than the string, you know that they will be floods on your child.
§ Trace your child's foot on cardboard and bring it to slip into shoes. We encourage you to leave your children at home and this is the best way to see “if the shoe fits”
§ We have made EVERY effort to ensure that no recalled items are in our sale, however we will have a “recalled” book available at the sale for you to review before you purchase any items or you can check www.cpsc.gov
§ Have you considered becoming a volunteer? By volunteering you will have the opportunity to shop first (translation: get the best deals). You can volunteer 3, 6, or 9 hours (with FREE babysitting service) and shop before consignors. Check times to see time you would shop for each hour worked.
RECALL COMPLIANCE:
We will comply with the CPSC Law for all Recalled Items! This includes clothing items with charms or studs.
